www.breadbeckers.com - I have always made my own homemade breads, but I had no idea of the value of doing so for my family. We just knew it tasted much better!
I also found some fabulous curriculum choices for Lauren since she have a love of medical science and of course animals I lucked upon a curriculum called Veterinary & Animal Science by the company called In the Hands of a Child.
The rest of the curriculum I have decided on for this coming year is based on past experience and some new friends I met at the conference.
Math - well will stick with Math-U-See but also use Teaching Textbooks as soon as they come out with a MAC version later this year.
English - The Winston Grammar Program - we have used the program in the past and really liked it even thought it is usually used for an older child - Lauren seem to grasp it very well.
Vocabulary/Spelling - English from the Roots Up - Greek and Latin Root Words - LOVE this Program!
History - The Mystery of History - This will be a new for us, but we are looking forward to it.
Science - Sonlight with supplement of the Vet Science Unit Studies
Extracurricular Activities - We will remain active in 4-H with the Dogs, Rabbits and Public Speaking. Lauren will also stay active in Softball playing for the Auburn League. She plays Pitcher and 2nd Base.
Still searching for Field Trips but we did find a wonderful manual of Georgia Day Trips at the convention so we will be searching them soon.
